'THE UNEXPECTED WELCOME' at the Moooi presentation during HD Expo+Conference, Las Vegas 2011

Moooi is really proud to be part of HD Expo+Conference a hospitality design-networking event.
Come to visit us, we have prepared an inspiring production including our newest designs traveling straight from Milan to Las Vegas!
In May 2009, the Moooi showroom in NYC opened its doors with a permanent presentation that allows us to showcase our collection and iconic
pieces in a space where we can welcome friends, press, architects, designers and future Moooi fans to become acquainted with our products. It is a
permanent showroom and the perfect location to view the collection and a meeting point for design professionals from all over the world. Moooi
products are stocked in the USA for an efficient and quick delivery and all our light objects are UL listed.
For our participation during HD Expo+Conference the Moooi team has prepared an exclusive presentation of our collection showcasing designs from
Marcel Wanders, Raimond Puts, Nika Zupanc, Maarten Baas, Front, among others. This presentation will also include the new designs introduced last
month in Milan from Studio Job and Bertjan Pot as well as a couple of products which will be presented to the public for the first time in their final
design from Arihiro Miyake and Neri & Hu.
The presentation will include the versatile and facetted Miyake table lamp and floor lamp by Arihiro Miyake and the magnificent Raimond lamp by
Raimond Puts based on the pure beauty of mathematics. Get surprised by the Emperor light piece by Neri & Hu inspired by a made-believe folklore
story of an Asian emperor & a beautiful nightingale. Feel free to sit on the Gothic Chair by Studio Job. Studio Job have re-interpreted the solid wood
and romantic elegance of the Gothic style and presented a playful, light chair made from brightly colored rotation molded plastic and contrasting ‘upholstery’
buttons. Admire Heracleum, a lamp design by Bertjan Pot inspired by the Heracleum Plant. The white leaves/lenses ramify from one branch
creating a very technical, natural structure. Get refreshed by Mistral, the latest light creation by Moooi works. Welcome fresh air and light! At last don’t
forget to enjoy the innovative textures and patterns of our new carpets, Fata Morgana TJ by Marcel Wanders & Firmship carpet by Studio Job.
