Concrete Architectural Associates is responsible for the interior design of Mazzo. The typical living room feel is evoked through the industrial look of the venue coupled with warm accent pieces such as the Chesterfield sofas and the long dining room tables. These highlight the Italian family atmosphere of togetherness. An eye-catching detail is the long open kitchen cabinet that extends from the front to the back of the restaurant. Herein you will find all the wonderful products and ingredients the kitchen uses to prepare Mazzo’s dishes. At the front you will find the bar area, which leads to the restaurant section with view of the large, open kitchen. In the rear, walking past the kitchen is a small space for private dinning, business meetings and special events. The large photographs on the wall perfectly describe what Mazzo is: the Jordaan’s new living room!
